In 2001, sold 4.5 MILLION pounds of Brisket. (4 & 1/2 lbs. for every man, woman, and child in San Antonio.) Sold 7 MILLION pounds of CHICKEN ( 7 lbs. for every man, woman, and child in San Antonio.) 1998 was the first year ever that we sold more chicken than beef. Sold 2,000,000 links of sausage. Sold 200,000 slabs of pork ribs. Used 9 MILLION pounds of potatoes. Used 367,400 lbs. of tomato paste, and it takes 4 lbs. of tomatoes to make 1 lb. of tomato paste, so we used 1.5 MILLION POUNDS of tomatoes for barbecue sauce. Used 2 MILLION POUNDS of sugar to sweeten iced tea. Used 600,000 tea bags, to brew 3 MILLION GALLONS of tea, or 10 MILLION large iced teas! Sold over 100,000 TEXAS TEA BUCKETS, our quart-size insulated drink mug. Have sold over 700,000 TEXAS TEA BUCKETS since we started selling them several years ago. Sold over 453,600 JALAPENOS, each one hand-sized in the field when it was picked to make sure we get the correct size jalapeno!. |
